They were produced by the Staffordshire works as part of their "Bridal Rose/ Rose Spray" pattern which was introduced in 1940. They are beautifully executed on the Dainty blank which shows crisp mold and fine detail to the fine ribbed / geometric pattern. The English rose transfers show nice color and fine detail against the bright white bone china ground.
The plates measure 10 7/8" in diameter and bear the pictured "Shelley Fine Bone China" green mark and "Bridal Rose pink band (#13545). They are in excellent condition with no chips, crazing or stains and appear to have been rarely used and gently stored.
